What types of yachts are available for rent in Phoenix?

We offer a diverse fleet including motor yachts from 30 to 60 feet, sailing catamarans, and luxury pontoon boats. All vessels are fully equipped with sound systems, shaded decks, and restrooms. Our inventory includes brands like Sea Ray, Beneteau, and MasterCraft. Each yacht is meticulously maintained and inspected before every charter.

Do I need a boating license to rent a yacht?

No license is required. Every charter includes a US Coast Guard licensed captain who handles all navigation and safety. You simply relax and enjoy the experience. Our captains are also knowledgeable guides who can share local history and point out wildlife along the way.

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure. For cancellations within 48 hours, a 50% fee applies. Weather-related cancellations are fully refundable or can be rescheduled at no cost. We recommend booking during Arizona's mild season (October through May) for optimal conditions.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Absolutely. You are welcome to bring your own catering, beverages, and decorations. Many guests choose to work with local Phoenix caterers for a premium experience. We also offer add-on packages including charcuterie boards, champagne, and BBQ setups. Glass containers are discouraged for safety, but we provide ample serving ware.

What is the maximum guest capacity?

Our vessels accommodate between 6 and 30 guests depending on the yacht and US Coast Guard capacity limits. For larger groups, we can arrange multiple vessels or a staggered schedule. All capacity limits are strictly enforced for safety and comfort. Please inquire about specific vessel capacities when booking.

Where do charters depart from?

We operate from several marinas in the Phoenix metro area, including Pleasant Harbor Marina on Lake Pleasant, as well as locations near Scottsdale and Tempe Town Lake. Your booking confirmation will include exact directions and parking information. All marinas offer ample parking and nearby amenities.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Phoenix Yacht Rentals LLC website and charter booking services. By accessing our site or booking a charter, you agree to these Terms.

Service Provider: Phoenix Yacht Rentals LLC, registered in Arizona, USA. Our office is located at 4825 E Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85032. All charter services are provided subject to availability and vessel condition.

Booking & Payment: A 50% deposit is required to confirm all reservations. The remaining balance is due 7 days before departure. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.

Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% fee. No-shows are charged in full. Weather-related cancellations are fully refundable or reschedulable at no additional cost.

Guest Conduct: All guests must follow captain instructions and safety briefings. Damage caused by negligence or prohibited behavior (including excessive intoxication, smoking indoors, or unauthorized boarding) is the responsibility of the booking party.

Intellectual Property: All website content, including text, images, and branding, is owned by Phoenix Yacht Rentals LLC and protected by US copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability: Phoenix Yacht Rentals LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from charter services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific charter. Guests participate in water activities at their own risk.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in Maricopa County courts. By booking, you consent to personal jurisdiction in Arizona.

Risk Disclosure

Important Notice: Participation in yacht charters and water-based activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to weather conditions, water currents, vessel motion, and potential accidents. By booking a charter, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Safety First: All vessels are equipped with US Coast Guard-approved safety equipment, including life jackets, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits. Our captains are trained in emergency procedures. Guests are required to follow all safety instructions at all times.

Weather & Conditions: Arizona weather can change rapidly, especially during monsoon season (June–September). We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule charters due to unsafe weather conditions. No refunds are provided for voluntary cancellations due to weather if the captain deems conditions safe.

Health & Fitness: Guests should be in reasonable health to participate in water activities. Pregnant individuals, persons with heart conditions, back problems, or other medical concerns should consult a physician before booking. Alcohol consumption should be moderate and responsible.

No Guarantee of Specific Experiences: While we strive to provide exceptional experiences, wildlife sightings, specific routes, and weather conditions cannot be guaranteed. Sunset timing and colors vary by season and atmospheric conditions.

Personal Property: Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Phoenix Yacht Rentals LLC is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during charters. We recommend leaving valuables at home or securing them in provided lockers.

Assumption of Risk: By boarding any vessel, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the charter, including potential injury, property damage, or other loss. This disclosure does not waive your statutory rights under Arizona law.
